Preparation Method:
Methyl 2,3-dihydrobenzo [B] furan-5-carboxylate can be prepared by the following methods:

-Then, through an esterification reaction, 2-propionylphenol is reacted with methanol to generate 2-propionylphenyl methyl ester.
-Finally, 2-propionylphenyl methyl ester is subjected to a reductive cycloaddition reaction to generate Methyl 2,3-dihydrobenzo [B] furan-5-carboxylate.
